- We hope
everyone is staying safe during the break. We have a few things in the works to
keep in touch with everyone (like these announcements) and we will keep you
posted on how you can stay active and connected to the club until we can all
get together again.
- Our first
podcast classes happen Tuesday March 31 and Thursday April 2, both at 6:30 PM.
Instructions to follow very soon.
- Summer Camps are still a couple of months off, and will
obviously depend on the ongoing health climate of Canada. Currently, weeks 1
and 3 are sold out. If you would like to tentatively be put on the list for
week 2 (July 13 to 17) just e-mail us your child’s name and we will save you a
- KarateMaynia XLIII is coming ! Our very own,
World Class tournament event WILL happen eventually at the Kitchener Memorial
Auditorium. We hope that EVERYONE in our Kitchener Kicks Martial Arts Family
will get involved in the event in some way. Please see the attached
KarateMaynia description to see how YOU can participate in our biggest event of
the year. Be sure to read the announcements for updates from Sigung as well.
You can still volunteer to help out at the tournament. Just e-mail your name to
Sigung saying you would like to help out at KarateMaynia (pending the date, of
course) and we will put you on the list. Updates will continue to be given on
the status of the tournament right here.
- The CKKA Convention
coming to Toronto has been postponed. The CKKA is working on setting up new
dates for the event later this year. Please stay tuned for further updates.

stay sharp and be ready for the imminent re-start !
- As previously
announced, ALL Kitchener Kicks memberships have been put on hold, and no
further fees will be withdrawn without first giving our members 15 days notice
of any reactivation of memberships. All current members will also be given
credit for the month of March 2020 before any further membership fees are paid.

like always, I am here for you. And a VERY SPECIAL THANK YOU to ALL our wonderful
members and instructors. I hear grumblings from my colleagues at other Martial
Arts clubs, of how they are getting complaints and push-back from their members
during these difficult times. I have gotten exactly NONE of that from our GREAT
membership. THANK YOU ALL ! We WILL get through this TOGETHER ! Keep in touch.
